Finances? Challenge accepted! - Digital lecture with Saidi Sulilatu at the HSNR

Finances don't have to be complicated or stressful. Saidi Sulilatu, editor-in-chief and managing director of the independent money guide Finanztip, will show how a relaxed and self-determined approach to money can be achieved in his digital lecture "Finances? Challenge accepted!" on 26 February at 5 pm.

The digital lecture is free of charge and is aimed at all interested parties - even without prior knowledge - who want to organise their finances in a confident, informed and future-proof way. Interested parties are asked to register:

With clear words, practical examples and everyday tips, Saidi Sulilatu explains what really matters when it comes to personal financial planning. Topics covered include the tried-and-tested financial tip principle, how to manage money in partnerships with different incomes and how to build up a solid pension plan. In addition, the speaker will show how it is possible to have more money left over each month, save systematically, reduce financial burdens and protect yourself effectively against financial risks. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions directly to the speaker.

The digital event is an initiative of the Equal Opportunities Officer at The Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR), Dr Sandra Laumen, and follows on from previous events on financial issues. The focus is particularly on topics such as retirement provision and avoiding poverty in old age, which continues to affect women to an above-average extent. Dealing with finances in relationships with different incomes is also examined. Common assumptions - such as sharing costs equally - are critically scrutinised, particularly with regard to long-term effects such as the pension gap.
