The latest issue of *Farbe und Lack* presents an exciting approach: graphene could make traditional zinc dust coatings more sustainable and high-performing. In an interview, Jan Willem van der Koelen (TMC Consulting) explains the challenges of dispersion as well as key parameters in water-based 2K epoxy and zinc dust systems. Modern electrochemical testing methods such as EIS, SKP and LPR demonstrate how the protective performance can be reliably assessed.
