Mönchengladbach, 21 November 2025
The project is entitled “Temporium” and explores personal and social issues from various perspectives. Using creative, artistic means, the students aim to explore themes such as the fast pace of life, dependency and the butterfly effect. Visitors can expect an atmospheric interplay of dance, music, text, photography and art that stimulates reflection and opens up new perspectives. “Temporium” can be conceived as a place of time – an in-between space where past, present and future intersect. It becomes evident that change is happening and that everything is in flux.
The event is the result of one of this year’s indoor projects led by Prof. Dr Felicitas Lowinski and Mirco Wessolly. Over two semesters, the cultural education students have explored pressing issues in a cultural context using the project-based learning method. The group deliberately chose the WESTEND in order to reach younger audiences as well. The performative exhibition takes place in the open youth centre (ground floor) and can be accessed via the side entrance. Two performances will be held: at 5.00 pm and at 7.00 pm. Admission is free and the venue is accessible to all. A bar serving drinks and snacks ensures a relaxed atmosphere.
