Equipped with university Pride shirts, a whole group of university members led by Nina Ilina from the Sustainability and Diversity Office walked with the parade from Platz der Wiedervereinigung to City Hall.
The joint stand of Equal Opportunities, Diversity, the AStA queer and the PrideProgress network was very well received and well attended by CSD visitors. Numerous bracelets were knotted, buttons were designed and people simply exchanged ideas. We had our hands full from start to finish and are already looking forward to the next Pride Season 2025. Until then, the university is offering the next event for the queer community and its allies, the PrideProgress network meeting on October 11, 2024 at 4 p.m. in room S304 on the Mönchengladbach campus.
