The animation studio of designkrefeld is assigned to the project area illustration, animation and motion design. Individual students or teams can occupy various workstations here by the hour or day and also set up for longer work phases. The professionally equipped greenbox studio with Kino Flo lighting enables the shooting of cropped photos and videos. In addition, comfortable computer workstations for 2D and 3D animation as well as post-production are available in the rear area of Studio 302 (PC and Mac) - each with large Cintiq graphics tablets and up-to-date software as well as A3 scanners. With the support of the respective student staff, voice recordings can be made in the box and edited with professional software (Pro Tools, etc.) as well as compositions on the keyboard in the attached sound studio. In addition, mobile equipment is also available for outdoor use:
- 2 cameras (Sony α7 II and Sony α7 s II, each with Metabones E-EF mount).
- Lens (Sigma 17-70 mm)
- Gimbal and remote control (Ronin M in backpack)
- Audio recording device (Zoom H6)
