The CAD Lab in the faculty offers its students in the fields of Product, Spatial and Environmental Design a large-scale studio for teaching education and exercise of virtual representation and presentation methods. Individual support is offered on a project and problem-oriented basis.
A flexible power and network connection enables students to design their own work islands for group work and to use them independently outside opening hours by means of a locking system.
Equipment:
The CAD lab is equipped with 25 workstations with current updates of the software suites Autodesk Industrial Design, Solidworks, Adobe Master Coll., Microsoft Office, and Microsoft OS. File and web servers, a DIN A0 printer, a DIN A2 printer, and a DIN A4 color laser are also available. The equipment of the lab also includes graphic tablets Wacom Cintiq 21ux and a DIN A3 scanner. Students have the possibility to borrow a presentation laptop and beamer.
A large meeting and work table is available.
