On Thursday, March 15, 2018, the Faculty of Food, Nutrition and Hospitality Sciences of the Hochschule Niederrhein and REFA Bezirksverband Mittlerer Niederrhein e.V. will host the "Mönchengladbach Symposium for Healthy Work" for the seventh time. As already in the previous years the city of Moenchengladbach, the federation of German Kneippheilbäder and Kneippkurorte registered association and the health agency North-Rhine/Westphalia function as co-operation partners.
The participants expect again exciting expert lectures and lively specialized discussions, this time around the slogan good boss does well. The aim will be to take a closer look at the interaction between entrepreneurs, managers and employees in the context of workplace health promotion. In addition to addressing the important topic of "mutual appreciation in the workplace," extensive recommendations for good and healthy relationship and behavioral prevention will be given. Ideas, approaches and selected concepts are presented on how supervisors and employees can "find their flow" in order to work together well and in a health-oriented manner. In this context, the important topic of "trainee health" is also addressed. The important (role model) functions that the respective bosses should assume in this overall context will be a central component of this symposium.
