The Hochschule Niederrhein's fresher's welcome event took place on 24 September as part of the campus festival on the Mönchengladbach campus!
Anti-discrimination was represented with a stand together with equal opportunities, PrideProgress, family services and talent scouting. The exciting scavenger hunt was particularly popular with first-year students: they were able to get to know all the counselling services on site and win a small prize at the end.
The campus festival also offered a lively opportunity to make new contacts, exchange ideas with fellow students and familiarise yourself with the university's diverse range of services.
The Anti-Discrimination Office is pleased to be visible in this way right from the start of studies and to draw attention to important issues such as strengthening and further developing a university culture that is critical of discrimination and power.
