Prof. Dr. Eigenstetter's presentation in the session "Sustainable Global Supply Chains" gave an overview of some important concepts on sustainability and CSR management. A.U.G.E. (Atma Jaya University) Indonesian doctoral student Ratri Benedictus spoke about the importance of religion as a support factor for safe work. Religiosity - when coupled with high fatalism - can lead to behaving unsafely. However, in the positive case - it conditions a high work ethic and thus leads to higher social compliance. In countries where religious practices play a major role in everyday and working life, they can therefore have a positive influence on the level of safety in occupational health and safety.
