The student group of the Hochschule Niederrhein consisting of 10 students created different workshops in the context of their 5th semester projects to inform about grievances in the clothing industry together with the student initiative Fairquer and the project supervising professor Prof. Dipl. -Des. Marion Ellwanger-Mohr.
From September to December 2022, the students developed three workshops that address social, consumer and environmental issues. "We often get requests, especially from schools, if we could do educational work about the garment industry." -Edda Jabben, Fairquer member. Using interactive teaching methods, the content is made easy for participants:to understand. In addition to the food for thought, measures are taught that can be directly applied in everyday life.
