You can have academic achievements and examination results you have already completed recognised, or apply to be placed into a higher specialisation semester.
In particular, credit can be granted for work
- which were completed at the Hochschule Niederrhein or
- which were obtained at another university in Germany or abroad, or
- which can be substantiated as part of a completed vocational training programme or comparable professional qualification, provided the legal requirements are met.
Individual certificates, certificates of attendance or further training undertaken outside a higher education programme or recognised vocational training (e.g. courses at adult education centres or comparable educational institutions)will not be recognised, provided these do not constitute creditable academic or training achievements.
All applications and supporting documents must be submitted exclusively in digital form by email .

- the fully completed application,

Incomplete applications cannot be processed. Please note that, depending on the volume of applications, processing may take up to three months.
