The studies are scheduled over 6 semesters in the full-time form or over 8 semesters in the part-time form or accompanying training in the dual studies. The studies are structured in modules and comprise a total of 28 modules with defined objectives and subject areas. Each module ends after one semester with an examination.

After completing the degree, you can aim for a position in middle management. You will be able to master challenges in your profession using scientifically based, especially quantitative methods and soft skills.

Our "Health Care Management" degree program teaches medical, economic and technological methods that are essential for managing healthcare facilities. You will learn to develop practice-oriented solutions, taking into account interdisciplinary issues and international references.

At the end of the studies, you will have a broad range of knowledge and interface-related competencies. This opens up a wide range of professional opportunities in the Health Care sector.

For full-time | part-time | dual studies

General university entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or a previous education recognized as equivalent.

When registering for studies on a full-time or part-time basis, proof must be provided of a pre-study internship totaling 12 weeks .

• Of this, 4 weeks must be completed before the start of the lecture period.
• A total of 6 weeks must be completed in an inpatient setting (hospital / nursing home / rehab) in the field of nursing/therapy/medicine.
• The remaining weeks can be completed either in the inpatient or outpatient sector. Here, the internship can also take place in administration or technology.

Relevant apprenticeship and professional activities in Health Care can be credited towards the internship.

For dual studies:

Students who present a valid training contract with a recognized training institution in the Health Care sector, in particular for the profession of Management Assistant in the Health Care sector, are entitled to take up the studies in the dual type of degree programme.
