Design Discussion 98: Creativity and the machine - discussion with media educator Dr Joachim Paul

The Hochschule Niederrhein's (HSNR) 98th edition of the Design Discussion is focussing on the topic of "Creativity and Machines". On Thursday, 16 October, Prof. Dr Erik Schmid, Dean of the Faculty of Design, will be holding a discussion with Dr Joachim Paul in the Fabrik Heeder (Studiobühne 2, Virchowstraße 130) from 8 pm. Admission to the event is free, registration is not required.

With the increasing importance of artificial intelligence (AI), humans and machines are moving ever closer together. This proximity creates synergies and requires a more conscious use of shared resources. In his essay, Joachim Paul presents alternative approaches to "co-creation" that are not only of interest to designers. The full blog post is available at the following link: https: //www.vordenker.de/blog/

Dr Joachim Paul, also known as Nick Haflinger, is a blogger, media educator, biophysicist, neurocyberneticist and former member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament and the Pirate Party.

The Design Discussion is organised by the Faculty of Design of the HSNR and the Cultural Office of the City of Krefeld.
