In its resolution of September 30, 2025, the University Council set the amount of expense allowances for its members as follows:
1. Members of the University Council shall receive an expense allowance of €400 per meeting for attending regular meetings of the University Council, €700 for chairing meetings, and €500 for acting as deputy chair.
2. The same amount shall be paid as expense allowance for participation in meetings of the university election assembly; this includes any separate appointment for the presentation of the candidate.
3. University council members who are also members of a selection committee for a university management member shall receive an additional lump sum of €600 per selection committee.
4. For other special tasks or functions of university council members that involve significant additional work, in particular work on the university council's finance committee or on a selection committee pursuant to Section 21 (4) HG, an additional lump sum of €300 per annum or per selection committee shall be paid.
5. Internal members of the University Council shall be compensated in the amount of half of the amounts listed.
6. Each member of the University Council is free to waive the payment of expense allowances for individual appointments or in general.
By resolution dated September 30, 2025, the University Council determined the amount of the expense allowance.
The total amount of expense reimbursements paid in 2025 was €22,850.
