DigiLab

The DigiLab is the central meeting place for all technology enthusiasts and is available to all members of The Hochschule Niederrhein. One of the many possibilities offered by the DigiLab is the creation of prototypes for projects and theses. The open and flexible facility is ideal for design thinking and sponsors creative processes.
By exchanging ideas with other creative minds, new ideas can be developed together and innovative solutions found. In addition to our internal activities, the DigiLab is also involved in public relations work and therefore offers various workshops for students and teachers. Our aim is to share a fascination for technology and innovation and to explore the world of technology together

The DigiLab is located on the second floor of the W building in room W205. Further details can be found on the site plan.

Opening hours:
Mon. - Thurs. 09:00 - 16:00

The DigiLab gives students the opportunity to put the knowledge they have acquired during their studies into practical application or to realize their own creative ideas. Tomorrow's employers expect graduates to have not only theoretical knowledge, but also the ability to put it into practical application. In this respect, the DigiLab offers an ideal platform, because here students can not only understand the world of digital technology, but also actively experience it.

The Hochschule Niederrhein's DigiLab is open to all students and allows them to expand their skills and knowledge in a real-life environment. This practical experience is invaluable and helps to better prepare graduates for the demands of the job market. Here they can hone their skills, develop innovative solutions and prepare themselves for the challenges of the modern digital world.

The DigiLab has set itself the goal of communicating the world of digital technology in a tangible and understandable way. This initiative is not only intended to benefit current students, but also pupils who aspire to pursue studies in the future. The DigiLab therefore offers exciting and varied workshops for pupils from Year 8 upwards.

The purpose of the workshops is to give pupils an insight into STEM professions while they are still at school. This helps them to familiarize themselves with the opportunities and requirements of these professions at an early stage in order to facilitate the transition to later studies or a career.

The workshops are mainly aimed at school classes. If interested, teaching staff can make a request at the e-mail address below. We are always willing to discuss and organize opportunities to participate in our exciting and educational workshops.
