Today, televisions, cars, telephones and machines are as interconnected as the people who use them. The global networking of almost everything and almost everyone poses enormous challenges for companies:

  • How can secure communications and easy access be reconciled?
  • How can software be developed efficiently, while at the same time meeting demands for need-orientation, reliability and longevity?
  • How can creative ideas for IoT, Smart Home and Industrie 4.0 be implemented inexpensively with embedded systems?

CAS Software Engineer - ONLINE format

From the Idea to the Application - Successful Software Engineering for Practice

The certificate course "CAS Software Engineer" provides you with the foundation courses and competencies to realize software products or software services in a targeted and systematic manner, starting from a project idea and using state-of-the-art methods, processes and tools.

The certificate program consists of four individual certificate courses, which are coordinated in terms of content and take place on a total of 16 attendance dates:

  • Design of digital products and services - task- and user-centered software design
  • Systematically designing software architecture in the company
  • Process models and quality management in software development
  • Software implement and test

The total workload including self-study phases is approximately 300 hours (12 ECTS points).

CAS Embedded Systems Engineer

Realizing embedded systems innovatively - building blocks for the Internet of Things

The certificate course "CAS Embedded Systems Engineer" provides you with the competencies to realize or also optimize software for embedded systems in a targeted and systematic manner, starting from a project idea and using current methods, tools and platforms. In addition to functional properties, the certificate courses also address system security in particular.

The certificate program consists of four individual certificate courses, which are coordinated in terms of content and take place on a total of 12 attendance days:

  • Deeply Embedded with FreeRTOS
  • Open Embedded with Linux
  • IoT Communication
  • Embedded Security

The total workload including self-study phases is approximately 300 hours (12 ECTS points).
